Tdrinda Woods

Tdrinda Woods is a highly accomplished South African musician, educator, performer, and creative arts professional with a lifelong connection to music. Having started her music studies at the age of four, she has developed a broad artistic foundation across piano, violin, marimba, and symphonic percussion. Over the years, she has performed as a soloist, ensemble musician, accompanist, and orchestral performer, working with respected musicians and appearing in concerts, stage productions, recordings, and broadcast performances.

Alongside her performance career, Tdrinda has built a strong profile as an independent music teacher and education specialist. Since 2009, she has taught privately through MoTHS in Gauteng, South Africa, combining music education with a deep understanding of child development, special educational needs, autism, ADHD, family engagement in education, and music therapy. Her work reflects a strong commitment to supporting learners, parents, and young musicians through structured teaching, creative development, and inclusive education.

Tdrinda’s career also includes international qualifications, awards, recordings, published work, and leadership roles in music education. She has received recognition from platforms such as the Akademia Music Awards and was inducted into the Akademia Hall of Fame in 2023. She is also involved in wider educational and artistic development through her roles with the International School of Musicians and the International Teacher’s Association. Today, she continues to teach, perform, record, publish, and lead creative projects that promote music, education, and cultural expression.
